After being graduated from Ankara Police Academy in 1990, Cengiz Yönet worked as chief inspector and deputy inspector at various levels of Law Enforcement Agency. In 1995, he has graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Law. He has admitted to the İstanbul Bar in 1996. Before founding YÖNET Attorneys at Law, he has worked as in-house legal counsel in one of the biggest finance institutions in İstanbul. He is practicing law as an independent attorney since 1998.

During his 20+ years career, Cengiz Yönet has acted as legal counsel to lots of  giant companies which conduct their activities in various sectors including but not limited to energy, autogas, steel, agriculture, banking and finance, insurance, telecoms, construction and real estate ​ and assisted them for numerous domestic and cross-border transactions. 

Cengiz Yönet speaks English and especially concentrates on Commercial Dispute Resolution, Real Estate and Construction Law, Competition Law, Sports Law, Enforcement and Banktrupcy Law.

He is interested in cycling, mountain climbing and tennis.
